Geranium Pound Cake 

1 cup butter,softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar
Rose geranium leaves

Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Stir in vanilla. Line a well-greased 10 inch tube pan with geranium leaves (if desired). Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 F. For 1 hour. Cool in pan 15 minutes, remove from pan, allow to cool completely. Remove leaves. Sift powdered sugar over top of cake.
