Macaroon Cake 

5 tbsp. sweetened chocolate
1 3/4 cup cake flour
4 tbsp. hot water
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs 

Blend chocolate and hot water,mix and let cool. Cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate mixture, egg yolks, and milk. Beat well. Add flour, baking powder, salt and flavoring. Mix well, then fold in egg whites, beaten stiff. Place in tube pan, bake at 350 F for 1 hour.
